Mary Kay Riley, MA, LPC
About me:
There can be times when we feel like others are passing judgment too harshly or maybe that criticism comes from within ourselves. Either way, we can struggle with forgiveness and need someone to walk beside us with compassion and curiosity. I have over 11 years of experience combining psychology with faith to increase self-acceptance and improve relationships. My focus is on relationship discord, grief /loss, care-giving, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, and life transitions.
Making sense of and finding peace with our suffering is another focus. During these unsettled times we are all trying to figure out the role suffering plays in our daily lives, how to grow from it, while continuing to complete our daily tasks and commitments.
I also assist clients to identify goals which reflect their value system. Identifying one’s values can be a challenge when emotions are high and other’s opinions are taking space in our minds. I hope to help clients navigate this dilemma and achieve a sense of peace from living a value driven life.
